Only a few left in 2022

2022年も残りわずかになりました．今年5月に立ち上げたこのブログですが，当初，1年で完成のつもりが，何だかんだと悩んでいたら，完成には少なくとも3年は掛かると判断するようになりました．今後，Google翻訳の助けも借りながら，ゆっくりのんびり進めていきます．
There are only a few left in 2022.  This blog, which was launched in May this year, was originally intended to be completed in one year, but after some confusion, I came to the conclusion that it would take at least three years to complete.  We (my computers, Google Translate and me) will proceed slowly.

毎年ではないですが，春になると，我が家の玄関先にツバメが巣を作って雛を育てます．野生で生きる術を知っている親鳥は何かにつけて用心深いですが，子ツバメは人に見られても恐れを知らず飛び回ります．
巣を離れる日の朝，空が白み始めると，親鳥は子供たちに，人間が起き出してくる前に巣から出発するよう促します．赤外線暗視カメラで撮影した白黒写真の「白く太い光の筋」は，親鳥の飛んだ軌跡を捉えたもの．
Although not every year, every spring, swallows build a nest in front of our house and raise their chicks.  Parents know how to survive in the wild and are always cautious, but young swallows fly around fearlessly even if they are seen by humans. 
On the day of leaving the nest, when the sky begins to lighten in the morning, the parent birds urge their young to leave the nest before the humans wake up. The thick white streak of light in the black-and-white photo taken with an infrared night vision camera represents the trajectory of the parent bird’s flight.
